H. Sheen Chiou, Ph.D., CCC/SLP is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at the Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She earned her PhD from the University of Minnesota in 2007.  

Her clinical and research interests include language and cognitive communication disorders in adults with neurogenic diseases.  She teaches several courses including adult language disorders, neuro basis, multicultural issues in communication disorders, grand rounds and introduction to communication disorders.   

She supervises graduate students facilitating the Minnesota State University Mankato Aphasia Group and conducting Aphasia therapy and cognitive rehabilitation in traumatic brain injury.
